The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Unfortunately, it was undergoing some much needed reconstruction, so we couldn't get very close. The same story with the Japanese Garden, and a lot of other stuff in the city... now I understand why they say the city bird of San Francisco is the crane (get it? think for a second... there you go, I knew you'd figure it out).
