In the immortal words of Salt-n-Peppa, here we go, here we go, here we go a-gain!! Yup, I'm baaaack!! Ok, where to start? I finally got the call to do ADR work on 2001 Maniacs (for those of you out there in TV-Land, that's also called "looping," or dubbing in voices where the sound didn't work so well). This is a good thing -- we might actually have a movie here soon!!! If I haven't posted this link before, here it is -- check here often for 2001 Maniacs updates!

If you happened to catch an epsode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, or The Tonight Show, or Good Day L.A. yesterday where they featured carved-soap busts of Ellen, Jay & the Good Day folk, you can thank my roomie, Elana, for delivering those damn things realllly freakin early yesterday morning. Ahhhh a publicist's assistant's dream life.... ;) She did get to meet Jay Leno, tho...

So back to my celeb-spotting... erstwhile naked chick Elizabeth Berkeley (Saved by the Bell, Showgirls) has been coming in a lot with Scott Foley (Felicity)... I've seen Queen Latifah (David got to wait on her.... again), Steve Harvey as always, Miss Tyra and her gang from America's Next Top Model (got to serve her myself again -- cool bunch of folks), Lisa Simpson herself - Yeardley Smith (who I actually saw knitting in front of the bookstore nextdoor before she came in), Johnny Depp's brother (swear -- and they look exactly alike - only this one's about 25 years old... go get 'em girls!), Jackie Collins again, Kathy Griffin, and Ocean's 11's Scott Caan - who I waited on myself (very cool dude), and didn't quite recognize under his beard. When he came back the next day clean shaven, he looked even less like himself ;) Catch his profile, tho, and the family resemblance shines right through.

I had the surreal experience of seeing Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future, Taxi) dining by himself when I stopped in for some take-out Thai food -- kinda cool!

I'm drowing in my own stuff. Seriously -- I have so much stuff and I'm not quite sure how to get out from under it. Thank goodness for eBay -- there just aren't enough hours in the day to get all my stuff listed!! I don't think we realize how much our things can run us and rule us and own us - instead of the other way around. I'm tired of being owned by my things and I want liberation... but I'd like to keep my computer and my tv and just a couple of knick knacks here and there... but everything else can go. Except my motorcycle. And some cd's. And my stuffed Scooby Doo. You know what I mean. ;)

We went rollerblading along the beach again yesterday (it's been entirely too long since I've worked out -- with no workouts and copious amounts of Big Ed's Super Saucers and beer, my pants don't fit so well!!) -- what a beautiful ride!! We went from Temescal Canyon down to the Santa Monica Pier.... I'm sure it'll get easier as I do it more, but that little bit kicked my butt. I'm hoping to work up to getting all the way to Venice and back...

I'm off to Vegas again on Tuesday for my birthday -- the Hard Rock, of course -- for a few well-deserved days of sun and tasty adult beverages. For the record, this is my 26th birthday. Seriously. That's my story, and I'm stickin to it. Must I remind you this is my world, and I make the rules -- you're just enjoying the ride ;)

The Emmys are rolling into town this weekend, right in David's backyard... I think I may just avoid the fray. I promise I'll be all up into the Oscars, tho -- won't let you down there ;)

Hang tough, cats & kittens!! Namaste...
