Wendy's Excellent Canadian Adventure

A near-miss and a not-sure for you today... Evidently, I just missed seeing Halle Berry in for lunch yesterday. Drat. And in the Blair Underwood not-certain category, either that was Mary McDonnell ("Dances With Wolves") or a very good imposter. Again, if anyone knows the whereabouts of Ms. McDonnell last evening and can clear this one up, let me know.

"High Fidelity" rocks. The book, the movie, the total package. I am, admittedly, an unabashed John Cusack fan - I slobber over "Serendipity" every chance I get - but nonetheless, it's a real jewel. Jack Black, Joan Cusack... right on.
