So I've decided that since this crazy City of Angels is chock full of celebrity-types, and it's wayyyy uncool for me to be all ga-ga about it in public (and especially in my restaurant - no good for tha bidness to fawn over the guests lol) -- this shall heretofore be my *official celebrity fawning forum*, ie: the place I get to be all bejiggety about stars and can't get busted for it :) So, you MUST play along. This is my world, you're just visiting.

So make with the good stuff, you say? Ok, I shall!!! On Friday, the last table I "waited on" (I'm in training, so although I took care of the table, Marin took care of the tip lol) was one Ms. Tyra Banks. She was cool -- that girl can eat when she wants -- no worries about that here. She spent her time dishing about behind-the-scenes of the last season of "America's Top Model." Ok, since we're close here, I can admit I was completely addicted to that show.... and was soooo happy Yoanna won!! Don't hate me cuz I enjoyed reality tv.... and I won't admit I actually watched "The Littlest Groom." Ooops, guess I just did. Anyway, Ms. Banks was nothin but sweet and nice -- Miss Thang got it goin on every which way, and a very nice encounter.

According to rumor, former SNL member Norm McDonald hangs in my restaurant nightly.... haven't seen him yet tho.

I should tell you at this point that my restaurant is on Santa Monica Blvd., verrrrrry near Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive and Wilshire -- a mecca for the famous and beautiful.

On Wednesday after work, I passed one Snoop Dogg on Wilshire Blvd... no pimp mobile that day, just the family Mitsubishi...

And tonight, who should walk in to the rest. but Paulie and Paul Teutil, Sr. Aieeeeee!!!! For those of you NOT in the know, these guys have a great show on the Discovery Channel called "American Chopper." They own Orange County Cycles in New York, and they build amazing bikes -- they're also a supremely dysfunctional (read: good tv) family. You may also know them as the guys in the AOL Broadband commercials, sending little brother Mikey back to the renaissance.... I was actually giggly when I saw them walk in ;)

So, enough for tonight. I'm plugging away here in L.A., trying to get settled and workin' it all out.

Rock on with your bad selves.... ;)
